CleverNote privacy: your data across Finance and Notes

Finance and Notes use the same account and current space. The products change the focus of the experience; they do not create two independent data vaults simply because they are separate apps.
Check the space before making changes
A note may be the source of a transaction or contain information about a person. A financial document can therefore provide useful context in Notes, while reports and planning remain in Finance.
Switching apps does not automatically share data with another person. Access depends on the space and its existing permissions. Before inviting someone or changing shared records, check who can access that space.
Export what you need to keep
Use the export options under Account → Privacy and data. Check the resulting file and the documents you need to preserve before deleting anything. An exported copy is under your control and needs appropriate storage.
Deleting a note can affect other queries
If a note is the source of information used in another product, deleting it can affect search or context there. Review the scope shown in the confirmation. Do not use deletion merely to hide a note from one screen.
Deleting your account is different from leaving an app
Signing out of Notes or uninstalling it is different from deleting your CleverNote account. Account deletion can affect data and access used in Finance too. Read the confirmation and export anything you need to keep first.
