Installation
- Open the App Store on iPhone
- Search for “CleverNote”
- Tap Get
It is a small download. Works on iPhones with iOS 16.4 or later.
First access: magic-link
CleverNote doesn’t use passwords. Login is via magic-link: a single-use access link sent by email.
- Open the app and enter your email
- Open the email with subject “Your CleverNote access link”
- Tap the link, the app opens directly, already logged in
The link expires in 15 minutes. If you already created an account on the website, use the same email.
Tip: the magic-link email sometimes goes to Spam or Other the first time. Check and mark as “not spam.”
Navigation
The app has 6 tabs in the bottom bar:
- Home: quick dashboard, capture, recent notes
- Archive: complete note list with search
- People: extracted entities (people and providers)
- Finance: expense and income dashboard
- Notifications: alerts and reminders
- Account: settings, language, subscription
Capturing in the app
Text
On Home, tap the text area and type.
Photo
- Tap the camera icon
- Take a photo or select from gallery
- Optionally add descriptive text
- Submit
Audio
- Tap the microphone icon
- Record an audio clip
- Submit. The app transcribes the recording automatically.
- Tap the attachment icon
- Select the PDF from the Files app or another app
- Submit
Share Sheet: capturing from other apps
CleverNote appears in iPhone’s share menu. To capture from any app:
- In the source app (Safari, Photos, Files, etc.), tap Share
- Select CleverNote
- Add optional text and confirm
This works for web pages, photos, PDFs, text, links and much more.
Push notifications
CleverNote uses push notifications for:
- Reminders and events you created or that were automatically extracted
- Budget alerts (when a limit is approaching)
- Resurfacing of relevant notes
To enable: when you first open the app, accept the notification permission. If you declined before, go to iPhone Settings → CleverNote → Notifications and enable.
Language
The app auto-detects the system language (PT-BR or EN). To switch manually, go to Account → Language.
