How limits and billing work

A note is each thing you save, whether text, a photo, voice, or a PDF. Limits are shared across your CleverNote space, and switching products does not reset them.

In every plan: text, photos, voice, and PDF, with sources to check. Pro bank connection is part of Finance.

Website prices in US$, CA$, or R$, with payment through Stripe. CleverNote is run by a Canadian company, so outside Canada the purchase is international and your bank may charge fees (IOF in Brazil). On iPhone, purchases use the App Store. Annual billing charges the full year at once, and the monthly equivalent is for comparison only. App store offers and prices depend on your region and availability in the app.

What happens after 7 days?

Your library stays accessible on Free, with up to 15 new notes and 30 questions per month. Notes and questions in Finance use those same limits.

When you create your account on the web or on Android, you get 7 days of Pro features, no card and no automatic charge when the trial ends. On iPhone, the annual plan's free week, when offered, comes from the App Store: you add payment with Apple, and unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the week ends, the annual subscription is charged automatically. Choose Plus or Pro to keep using paid features.

Before you start

Where does the answer come from?

From content you saved and can access. Answers can cite notes and passages from your library. Open the source to check the context and correct the interpretation when needed.

Does a correction change the original?

No. Correcting the interpretation keeps the original accessible, and you can tell what the source said apart from your own correction.

Can I save from the web and by email?

Yes. The Chrome and Edge extension saves pages and excerpts, and your personal capture address receives messages and attachments from authorized senders.

Are Finance and Notes separate apps?

Yes. CleverNote Finance organizes spending, goals, and net worth. CleverNote: Notes & Reminders brings together notes, people, and reminders. Both use the same account and plan. Your library and limits are shared across your CleverNote space.
