From thought to plan, in the same box
Most goals die in “I will organize this later”. You think “I need to save for a trip” or “this year I will learn English”, and the idea fades because building the plan is work: open another screen, fill in fields, decide on a format.
In CleverNote, you now just write the goal in the chat box, the same one where you take notes and ask questions, and the plan is born there.
The box understands what you want
You already used the box for two things: save a note or ask your memory. Now it recognizes a third intent: planning.
- “I want to save 8k for a trip to Europe in December” becomes a money goal, with an amount and a deadline.
- “I want to get organized to learn English this year” becomes a life plan, with checkable milestones and habits.
- “I bought a car for 80k” stays a note (it is a past fact, not a goal).
The split is made by the meaning of the sentence, not by keywords.
When it is clear, it creates. When it is a tie, it asks.
Two simple rules keep you in control without slowing you down:
Is it clearly a goal? It is created on the spot, with no save button in the middle. The card shows the finished goal with “Open” (jumps straight to it and highlights) and “Undo” (deletes in one tap, in case the guess was wrong).
Could it be a goal or a note? A sentence like “set aside 8k for the trip” could be a savings goal or a reminder for the next paycheck. In that tie CleverNote does not decide on its own: it asks, with two options, “Create goal” or “Save with reminder”, and follows the path you pick.
And if the intent is vague (“I want to save for a trip”, with no amount or destination), it asks a short question to understand better, right there in the box, and continues the conversation until the plan is ready.
Money goals and life plans in one place
CleverNote’s planning covers two kinds of goal:
- Money goals and budgets live in Finances, anchored in your real spending history, with progress tracking and a projection of when you will get there.
- Life plans live in Planning: any goal (health, study, a personal project) becomes a plan with milestones to check off and habits to keep, with an optional deadline.
The chat box is the shortcut to create either one without leaving where you are.
Why this matters
Capturing and asking already made CleverNote a memory that answers. Planning closes the loop: from a loose idea to a concrete plan, with no friction, and with the AI asking before it assumes anything for you.
Write down what you want to achieve. CleverNote organizes the rest.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a separate screen to create a goal?
- No. You write the goal in the same box where you take notes and ask questions (e.g. 'I want to save 8k for a trip in December') and CleverNote creates the goal right there. If it is a life goal (studying, training, organizing something), it builds a plan with milestones and habits.
- What if it is unclear whether it is a goal or just a note?
- When a sentence sits on the fence between a goal and a reminder (e.g. 'set aside 8k for the trip'), CleverNote asks first: create the goal or just save it with a reminder. It does not guess.
- Is the goal created without my confirmation?
- When it is clearly a goal, it is created on the spot and you can open or undo it with one tap. When something is missing (the amount, for example), it takes you to the Finances screen to adjust before saving.
- How is this different from a budget?
- Planning covers both worlds: money goals and budgets (in Finances) and life plans with milestones and habits (in Planning). The chat box decides where to route and asks when in doubt.
